Warwick castle is a few minutes away by car, or a beautiful fifteen-minute stroll through the Park opposite the house. The town centre of Warwick is a ten or fifteen minute walk away, and the beautiful Georgian town of Leamington Spa (same period as Bath and Cheltenham Spa) is a mile and a half away in the opposite direction. The Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Shakespeare's birthplace and all the other delights of Stratford upon Avon are less than ten miles by car or catch the bus, which passes the door. The Organic Gardening Centre at Ryton is only a few miles away. The Hare on the Park is within easy reach of Birmingham with its nightlife, Jewellery Quarter, and the NEC. Prue Hardwick, the proprietor, grew up in the Cotswolds and will gladly help visitors to work out an interesting tour focusing on gardens, stately homes or antique-hunting.
