Plas Dolmelynllyn Hall Hotel

An elegant country house, the residence dates back to the reign of Queen Elizabeth I - part of the 'Old Hall' was built in the 16th century.

Today Plas Dolmelynllyn is owned and run by partners Janet Anderson-Kaye and Barry Green, who are dedicated to providing guests with a haven of delight.

The hospitality is superb, the food is delicious and the views from every window are nothing short of spectacular!

Countryside - Plas Dolmelynllyn Hall Hotel

We are new owners at Dolmelynllyn and have been very active since we opened last year. The business has a commitment to green tourism and is investing in developing the Victorian kitchen garden excavated from a tumble of weeds last summer. After a lot of heavy work we discovered a marvellous layout of pathways and raised beds, an overgrown orchard and soft fruit garden. These are now poised to burst into production again. Together with our free range eggs soon from our very own hens, there will be an abundance of home grown organic vegetables. Chef Janet trained many years ago as a nutritionalist and really understands the underlying concepts about vegetarian and vegan food so visitors to her Shelley restaurant need have no fear they will be fobbed off or offered cheese salad ( we can make it but why would you want it when so much is on offer?).
