We are situated in the heart of Le Langon, a small farming village, close to Fontenay le Comte, in a very popular French culture tourist area of the Vendée, benefiting from a warm, sunny microclimate, driven by the Gulf Stream. It's only forty minutes drive from the Atlantic Coast, where the wonderful sandy beaches await you.

We have a swimming pool, bike hire and table tennis all available to our guests. The medieval town of Fontenay Le Comte is only 10 minutes away. The famous re-enactment Park, The Puy du Fou, is only a short drive away.

If you require a quiet relaxing meal, without having to contend with the drink/driving laws, or don't want to try and find local restaurants in the dark after a long drive, we can accommodate you here. (The only hardship you will confront is whether you can squeeze the pudding in!!!)

We cater for all types of diets and requirements, especially vegetarians, (being one myself, I know how difficult it is to find vegetarian restaurants here). The majority of our produce is home-grown, either ours or our wonderful French neighbours'! Our lovely eggs are supplied by our 3 'girls' M,Q & Moneypenny!! If you are bringing children, (and we know how finicky most of them can be!) just let us know what they DO like, and we will do our best to accommodate.
