Hidden Valley Farm is centrally located in Ontario's well-known Grey-Bruce region, close to Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Grey-Bruce is a four-season recreation area which includes the world-famous Bruce Peninsula and Tobermory ferry to Manitoulin Island. Downhill skiing, water sports, sand beaches, and national and provincial parks are all within a scenic 45-minute drive. Closer to home you'll find riding stables, antique shops, farmers' markets, artisans' studios, good swimming and canoeing, a golf course, and more.

On our 120 certified organic acres, you may participate in farm activities and you may cross-country ski or walk through our hills and fields. Many visitors appreciate the peace and quiet they can find on one of our two sun decks surrounded by flower beds, or in our spacious sitting room with wood stove. Writers, painters, and photographers have stayed here, and have remarked upon Hidden Valley Farm's solitude and unique natural beauty. Kids enjoy the swings, sandbox, and rabbit hutch, and they love our friendly dog, Sasha. Sometimes we board a lamb or two over the summer for the enjoyment of our young visitors.

Our guests enjoy home-made "from scratch" vegetarian whole foods cuisine, prepared by Erika, who has been a vegetarian since 1973 and is a vegetarian cooking school instructor. In season, many of our meals are made with fresh veggies, herbs and berries that come directly from our certified organic kitchen garden, and in general, most of the food we serve is certified organic whole food. Erika knows how to cook for vegans, celiacs, diabetics and others with special dietary needs.

Your guest room will be simply furnished, yet clean and comfortable. Two of our guest rooms are furnished with double beds. There are lots of interesting books around the house, and we have an extensive collection of National Geographic magazines. Children are always welcome, and older ones may even spend a vacation with us on their own.

For our guests' convenience we offer free pick-up from the nearby GrayCoach bus stop, service in German if you like, and online reservation booking from our web site (link below). We accept Visa and American Express.
