Offer valid until June 15, 2005

Located in the beautiful mountains of Starksboro, Vermont, Camp Common Ground offers a unique family camp experience for adults and children of all ages grounded in the principles of respect, inclusion and cooperation. Our focus is bringing families of diverse backgrounds and cultures together in activities which promote healthy lifestyles, creativity and family cohesiveness. We welcome families of all shapes and sizes.

Our week-long family camp programs feature delicious vegetarian food and fabulous programming. We offer separate morning programs for adults and children. This gives parents the opportunity to explore their own creativity through arts, music and the healing arts, or relax and enjoy the beautiful 700 acre site while their children spend time with their peers and our experienced youth leaders. Our afternoons and evenings feature multi-age, family activities: yoga, arts, crafts, dance, nature education, games, swimming, hikes, campfires and more!

All activities are infused with the cooperative spirit including daily chores, which campers share. Campers are also invited to share their talents with the community if they feel drawn to do so. At the end of each week, campers of all ages have the opportunity to perform in the Big Show.

The cost of camp includes tent sites, meals, program fees and most materials for your week at camp. Adult and teenage campers 12 and up pay $495; children 3-11 years pay $425; and toddlers pay $70. Booking after June 1 will add $10 to each fee. There is also a registration fee of $35 per family.

For an additional fee there are a number of cabins on site for those who don't wish to camp out. Our cabins are located in our beautiful maple grove. They do not have electricity or plumbing, however bathhouses are located nearby.

This summer we’re offering the following programs:
