L'Arc en Ciel is a holistic retreat centre and vegetarian B&B situated in the beautiful Scorff valley in central Brittany. It is run by Linda and Arthur Cutler and their family, all of whom have a passionate interest in sustainable living, holistic healthcare, vegetarian cooking and organic gardening.

Our aim is to welcome anyone who is in need of rest, relaxation and recuperation by creating a healing space "to be" and to offer vegetarians the opportunity to stay in a guest house which caters for their needs.

Meals are all freshly prepared using organic produce, when available, much of which is grown in our own gardens. We offer warm, friendly hospitality, creating a home-from-home atmosphere. Rooms have en-suite facilities and are tastefully decorated with great attention to detail.

We also offer a range of therapies to anyone staying with us, including aromatherapy, yoga, therapeutic massage and Reiki. Prices are available on request.

L'Arc en Ciel is located close to the town of Guemene sur Scorff which has bars, shops and restaurants and the larger town of Pontivy is 20 minutes by car and has a station, the Nantes-Brest canal and an imposing castle. The north and south coasts of Brittany are within an hour's drive, offering sandy beaches, stunning scenery and famous stone megaliths. Locally, canoeing is available on the canal and there are many locations nearby for horse-riding, walking and cycling.
